Position Purpose :
The Financial Planning & Analysis Associate is reporting and working very closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
This position is responsible for the collation of data from various sources and analysing and reporting on financial information in a meaningful and interpretive fashion, timeously and accurately.
Forecasting : Responsible for provision of financial planning information within a 3 year horizon, which includes sales figures, pricing, expenses up till P&L, balance sheet, in order to facilitate business decision making and risk management.
Specific a focus on Morocco Market Planning and analysis :
Act as Point of contact for Morocco business partner to provide precise and meaningful business analysis
Collection of marketing budget information
Input planning organisation and collection
Responsible for financial analysis - local and global - by collating information, analysing and explaining variances and reporting of expenses within budget, the checking of correctness and the integrity of information, thereby ensuring that information is accurate and reliable and providing the business with sound input.
Generation, checking and submission of regional and global standard and ad hoc reports, in order to comply with global reporting guidelines, within set frequencies.
Responsible for monitoring and updating of the annual plan (10 updates / year) in terms of analysis of variances, actual vs.
plan, updating of assumptions, Latest Estimates etc and providing reporting input into the Performance management and the regional economic update in order to facilitate timeous decision making.
Assumes responsibilities for additional projects, tasks as assigned by his / her superior and shows professionalism in all aspects of work.
Experience & Qualifications :
Education : Tertiary education in Finance or equivalent diploma
Work experience : 3-5 years Finance experience in FMCG
Language and computer skills : Strong language skills in French & Arabic; fluency in English (both oral and written). Advanced Excel, SAP FI & CO.
