Background : The R&D Technical Management team will locally lead the country Deploy part of the R&D function.The Technical Assistant Manager is responsible for the implementation of the local R&D elements in his / her area of the innovation program.

He / she is a key business partner to Local Brand Building and local SC.The areas of responsibility includes : technical management, promotional support and input in issues / crisis management.

He / She also has to make sure that the relevant input has been given to claims and artwork studies Main job purpose / Main challenges of the job

  • For his / her product area he / she drives implementation of local R&D elements of the innovation program.
  • Partner with local brand building to provide relevant input and insight for the successful activation of products / brands in the market like demos.
  • Provide local technical insight to the development organization, external relations, supply chain and technical compliance networks
  • Conduct consumer and competitor understanding studies for the local market.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and share them with relevant teams
  • Identify threats & opportunities and trends / new segments / new technologies in the market
  • Manage external studies execution with external institution for claims
  • Complaint Management through monitoring issues and recommending / implementing corrective action, contact with relevant networks, product expert on relevant crisis management teams.
  • Provide both proactive and reactive support on issues. Support or manage Careline.

  • Translating MSO needs for the allocated area into appropriate input for the Categories / Development organizations (local needs, distribution / usage conditions, and secondary packaging requirements.
  • Specification management provide specifications for every product in the market and ensure new products in the market match agreed specifications
  • Manage claims risk assessment for the country based on regulations,
  • Discussion with regional teams on support documents to meet the regulatory requirements, discussion for the possible claims routes for the claims matrix for the region ( what is doable and what can not be said,etc)
  • Share the consolidated feedbacks with regional team, align on the final mastertext and communication materials.Check local language translation of final mastertext
  • AW approvals and PMD preparations
  • Manage challenge in / out cases for the country
  • Be a partner to CD and marketing teams for the events and trainings and be a partner to regulatory and legal teams for the Ministry of Health audits
  • Lead local Demo validation and creation activities
  • Organizing CID entries and Ministry notifications
  • Required qualifications and experience

  • Graduate from Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Faculty
  • Min 2 R&D experience preferred
  • Fluent in English (both writing & speaking)
  • Driver’s license required
