Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Applications Specialist MA & TC (Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care) Maghreb & West Africa to join our team and to be based in Casablanca, Morocco and support our Francophone Africa market.
You will be reporting to the General Manager Health Systems
As an Applications Specialist MA & TC you will have the opportunity to promote Philips Health Systems products & systems in the assigned geography.
In addition you will ensures that customers (e.g. end-users, technicians, and operators) are properly trained to optimally use the equipment delivered, installed and handed over by Philips Health Systems in case of an installation obligation and maximizing customer satisfaction in the assigned geography.
Your are responsible for :
Actively stimulate the sales of Philips equipment by attending, taking part in and organizing demonstrations, seminars, and exhibitions etc.
regarding application aspects.
To assist the Regional Business Line Managers in all aspects of marketing, sales and promotion of Philips equipment and to provide specialist sales support to the account managers when required.
To assist Sales Specialists and distributors by providing specialized sales support to ensure that all equipment is demonstrated to best advantage.
To assist the General Manager in the maintenance of tender responses, competitive pricing information and installed base data as well as assisting the Business Line Specialists, Account Managers and distributors in the answering of Tender questionnaires.
To be part of the Applications Team providing educational courses and support to customers.
To assume an active and measurable role in the marketing and sales generation of CTE services and consumables as it relates to the respective portfolios.
To provide feedback to business / marketing management with information on reference sites system performance, competitors’ products, customer reactions and sales arguments
Promote Philips Healthcare (PH) solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows
Working as part of an account team to ensure modality results are reached according to account plans and targets
Support new products launches
Provide required applications report on completion of all application visits
Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the equipment delivered
re-)Train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment
Set up application training schedules in close cooperation with the customer
Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality training and attention so that each customer is fully satisfied with the attention received from PH
Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction
Report to PH on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment
Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations.

Support and advise the sales force during acquisition
Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment
Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy
Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :
Fluent in French, English and Arabic (Moroccan dialect as preference)
Degree level education or equivalent - From a biomed or medical field
At least 2 years experiences in a hospital / clinic field or a in medical devices company - in a technical or sells position
At least 2 years experiences with anesthesia machines, ventilator and monitors
Ability to explain the functionalities of the mentioned devices in a technical and clinical way
Knowledge of the market (competition and volume) and of the buying process for medical device
Well-spoken with strong selling and organizational skills
Technology oriented, curious and motivated to keep on learning new things
Ability to travel extensively
